As part of the Visiting Edible Gardens programme, Peter has generously offered to let us have a look round his garden at Carleton. Peter created the garden 40 years ago and is still experimenting with new techniques.

Map. Peter is on Carleton Road in a large sandstone terrace just after Folly Lane on left coming out of the town centre. Go into through the front gate and round the side of the house on the right.
Within walking distance of Penrith town centre public transport. Please share lifts if possible if coming by car.Please use the above button to reserve a free place. Otherwise, simply look for the PACT or Freegle directions in Carleton. Anyone attending will have to sign in on a sheet. Please take great care at this visit and respect the generosity of those opening up their garden.
