Harm or Heal? Food, Us, Ecology and the Planet

Harm or Heal? Food, Ecology, Climate and Us
How to restore natural systems in food production and our role as consumers.
A free talk by Kate Roberts of How the Earth Thinks

Harm or Heal? Food, Us, Ecology and the Planet is a talk about the connections between soil health, our health and the health of the planet.

It explores some of the many connections that have come to light in recent years, that give us a fresh perspective on our place within the complex web of nature. These findings also reveal measures we can take to improve the health of everything we care about. Our growing understanding of the interconnections within and between ecosystems can help us to better protect and restore the living world and increase our own ‘health-span', in ways that will naturally lead to greater equality and healthier communities.

As much of the complexity and interconnectedness of nature is invisible to us, the talk uses images and analogies to illustrate how remarkably entwined all life is. It will give everyone food for thought and may be the start of a journey that will last a lifetime.
