With soaring car fuel prices, increasing road tax, constant fluctuations in insurance premiums and current uncertainty in the running and maintenance of public transport, you may be wondering whether there's a better way for us to make the best and most efficient use of our vehicles and transportation.
On Monday 6th June at 7pm there will be a public meeting for anyone interested in the exciting prospect of creating and using a Car Club in the Penrith area. You are most welcome to come along to this meeting at the Penrith Friends Meeting House, 1 Meeting House Lane, Penrith, CA11 7TR.
We will spend the time explaining how a car club works, the potential for Penrith and to seek your comments and views, as part of the consultation process.
