Rub and Sniff: Name the herb while you wait for your train. The herbs are in the
quirky planters on the platform - suitcases and shopping bags - possibly a world
first!

May 2014: This year the 3rd Penrith Brownies planted up the boxes at Penrith Railway
Station with herbs. You are invited to pick fresh herbs on your way home. Why not
try growing some for yourself, they are easy to grow and so tasty. Enjoy!
In 2013, local community gardening volunteers, working with Penrith Railway Station and students from nearby Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, planted up these boxes with herbs.
