- Review of possible Events and Activities for the Food Group in 2012
- Seed redistribution. Mike Doak to talk to Five Cafe about having a box with labelling. PC to supply list of viability for vegetable seed (done)
- Food Festival Event, suggestion was a possible event held at the end of a proposed Eden/Cumbria Food Festival possibly with Ivan Day as the speaker/demonstrator (PW to liaise with possible organisers)
- A suggestion that we could start a food event based on the design of the Green build Fortnight i.e. Local food producers would host groups looking at their production areas with an opportunity to buy. Maybe challenging for some small producers to cope with groups particularly in respect of hygiene regs.
- IET Field Trip. John Bodger has volunteered to drive, possible dates in May/June to allow for growing to get going. PC to speak to Nick Jones about arranging with his contact at IET.
- Fruit surplus discussion to be left until later as not urgent.
- Thought that Naomi van der Velden might have been at this meeting so we could discuss having a discussion meeting on Permaculture, so this will be dealt with by email.
