Asparagus Kale pods and seed
There will be the opportunity to swap unwanted seeds with other people, including Acorn Bank Garden, Make your own seed packets for collecting seeds, and a colouring competition for children with a prize for the best one. There will be teas, coffees, squash and cakes for refreshments.
The Location will be Kirkby Thore Memorial Hall. There is parking behind the hall and a small, enclosed children's playground too.
The event is supported by Penrith and Eden District Freegle and PACT as a part of the Freegle Grow-Your-Own Sustain Eden project led by CAfS.
FREE entry for anyone donating seeds. 50p entrance fee otherwise.
Children free.
PS There is no guarantee that any seeds swapped will germinate, or indeed be what it says on the label!
