Tree planting at Frenchfield

Date:
Sat, 04/12/2021 - 10:00
Venue:
Frenchfield Sports Ground
Organisation:
PACT

PACT, with help from Eden Runners and several other groups, will be planting trees at Frenchfield Sports Ground on Saturday December 4th, and perhaps on the Sunday as well. We will be planting up three different areas with a variety of native trees, and also some locally-gathered wildflower seeds. The trees are coming from the Woodland Trust.

Can you help? We would like all volunteers to come along if possible at 10am on the Saturday morning as there will be a briefing and demonstration at that time. If you want to help but can’t come till later let me know as we should be able to fit you in. You will need to bring wellies and work gloves, and a spade if possible but we should have a few to lend out. Also bring your packed lunch and drinks.

Please let me know if you intend to come! We need to know numbers. Also we may need to contact you if we need to postpone because of the weather or other reasons. If you can only come on the Sunday also please let me know so that I can contact you nearer the time – we hope it will be all finished on the Saturday but will see how it goes.
