Local student Amy Bray has set up sustainable living charity Another Way which is launching on 31st August. Another Waynwright Day aims to encourage as many people as possible to venture out onto the 214 Wainwright Lakeland Fells in Cumbria to demonstrate their commitment to the conservation and protection of the physical and natural environment.
PACT has adopted fell Great Cockup (NY273333) in the Uldate Fells north of Skiddaw. Please bring a kite to fly from the top - hopefully to show the power of the wind. Meet on the top at 1pm.
We hope to share transport to the fell. There is one route up from Longlands where there is parking for four cars.

Watermillock Village Hall has a pop-up cafe open from 10am to 4:30pm to support the charity launch.
In the evening after the walk, ambassadors and supporters are invited to Threlkeld village hall. There will be a BlueJam Arts Samba band from 6pm, speeches at 7, photo slideshows, light food and a bar.
